"Sleeping on Cardboard"
My name is Taylor Chan and I am a 20 year old architecture student at Illinois Institute of Technology. I am from Los Angeles, California and study in Chicago, Illinois.
This blog is to share and document all the personal photos, experiences and thoughts about my life and most importantly, architecture that drives me to thrive.
Between 1549 and 1625, St. Olaf’s Church in Tallinn, Estonia was the tallest building in the world, until the spire burnt down after a lightening strike. It has been struck with lightening at least 8 times, and the whole church has burnt down at least 3 times.
In the end, its beauty still stands.
This is the view from the top.
